As of now, the following updates have been issued regarding evacuation zones:

Remaining as an EVACUATION ORDER:
Zone ICU-223A: Horseshoe Meadows area

Updated to EVACUATION WARNINGS:
Zones ICU 195 & 197: Lubken Canyon (remain as warnings due to the potential for debris flow caused by precipitation and newly burned areas)

Evacuation Warnings Lifted (Repopulation Possible):
Zone 193: Alabama Hills area
Zone 207: Lone Pine Mobile Oasis/Foothill Trailer Park
Zone 211: Boulder Creek

Evacuation Advisory Lifted:
Zone 223C: Granite View

UPDATE: 11/24/24 – 10:30 am

There are no new updates regarding evacuation orders. Crews remain actively engaged in fire suppression efforts, with weather conditions being monitored closely. This remains a rapidly evolving situation.

The fire is now at 10% containment, but until we can get aircraft in the sky to evaluate, the acreage remains at 3,000 acres.

From Inyo National Forest, 7:20 AM Saturday:

Last night, Friday Nov. 22 at approximately 9:00 p.m. this fire reignited from high winds either from an ember from an interior pocket of heat or a spread from the fire’s edge.

At approximately 3 a.m. this morning the fire made a significant run downslope crossing over Horseshoe Meadows Road, however as of 6:30 a.m. the fire has significantly slowed its rate of spread and has received precipitation on it.

UPDATE: 4:30 am- Evacuation orders have been issued to INCLUDE zone 207 (Foothill) and 211 (Boulder Creek).

Boulder creek residents WITH TRAILERS will evacuate to the Sports Complex.

An EVACUATION WARNING has been issued for the residents in the Alabama Hills(zone 193). Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should evacuate now.

Update on HWY 395- Southbound lanes have reopened. Crews are working to clear the overturned trucks on the northern bound lanes to reopen that direction.
