Via ParentSquare:

Good evening-

It is with great sadness that I am announcing my resignation as Principal of Bishop Elementary effective June 28, 2024. It has been a pleasure serving as Vice Principal and Principal of Bishop Elementary the last 11 years. I am proud of the academic success students have made due to our excellent teaching and support staff. I also appreciate the relationships I have built with parents, students, teachers, staff, and community members who have advocated for our community’s elementary aged children.

Furthermore, I will now be working at Bishop Unified School District‘s District Office as Assistant Superintendent of Business and Administrative Services. With this said, I’m thrilled to be able to introduce you to your……

2024-2025 BES Administrative Team!
Rob Barker, Interim Principal
Adam Routt, TK-2nd Assistant Principal
Jessica Sharkey, 3rd-5th Assistant Principal
This team is made up of dedicated and experienced individuals you may already know and love who are committed to leading a supportive and dynamic learning environment for our students and staff. We have made the decision to structure the team differently next year to optimize strengths, provide focus, and support growth.  Please join me in welcoming this great group of leaders. Please feel free to reach out to them with any questions or ideas as we prepare for a successful school year ahead.

Thank you for allowing me to serve as Bishop Elementary’s Principal and Vice Principal the last 11 years.  It has been a pleasure.

Sincerely,

Dr. Gretchen Skrotzki
