Bishop Broncos Varsity Softball Falls 15-5 to Ridgecrest
Bishop varsity hosted Ridgecrest on 3/6 and fell 15 to 5. The score doesn’t reflect the play of the team. Going into the 5th down 9 to 5. The Ridgecrest team scored 6 runs in the top of the 5th. Baileigh Momberg pitched all 5 innings giving up 15 hits, 2 strikeouts, 3 walks and 1 hit batter. Bishop was solid defensively as a team only giving up 1 error.
Offensively for the Broncos,
Dani Garcia was 2 for 2 with 1 walk, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base, and 2 runs scored.
Baileigh Momberg was 1 for 2 a triple with 1 walk, 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
Shea Ludwick was 1 for 3 with a triple and 1 RBI .
Sienna Fuller was 1 for 3 with 1 RBI and 1 Stolen base
Shelby Maillet was 1 for 1 with 1 run scored.
Riley Vannest was 1 for 2 with 1 run scored.
