Bishop Broncos Varsity Softball Defeat Desert 19-0

Bishop varsity softball hosted Desert on Tuesday 5/5 and came away with the win 19 to 0 in 5 innings.
Sadie Mairs started on the mound and went 3 innings allowing no runs on no hits, 3 walks and 3 strike outs, facing 12 batters.
Ginger Lowden came in relief in the 4th inning and gave up no runs on 1 hit, and 2 strike outs, facing 7 batters.
Offensively,
Azul Aranzubia was 3 for 4, with 1 stolen base, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
Sadie Mairs was 2 for 2, with 1 walk, 1 stolen base, 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.
Faye Spoonhunter was 2 for 2 with a double, 1 walk, 1 sacrifice, 1 stolen base and 3 runs scored.
Cambrie Lanphear was 1 for 2 with a home run, 1 walk, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Ellie Boyd was 2 for 2, with 1 walk, 1 sacrifice, 1 stolen base, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Katya Fierro was 1 for 3 with a double, 1 hit by pitch, 1 walk, 2 stolen bases and 1 run scored.
Ginger Lowden was 1 for 1 with a double, 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
Taylor Currie was 1 for 3, with 1 walk, 1 stolen base, 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.
Braydee Momberg had 3 walks, and 3 runs scored.
Tannyr Ludwick walked once, stole 1 base and had 1 run scored.
Laila Beall was hit by a pitch twice and had 1 run scored.
Avery McGraw had 1 sacrifice bunt and 1 RBI.
Bishop had a solid defensive game today with no errors. Offensively, the team had a total of 13 hits.
