Bishop Broncos Varsity Girls Soccer Defeats Frazier Mountain 11-0

Bishop Union High School Varsity Girls Soccer team travel to Frazier Mountain to play the Falcons on January 16. At the end of the first half the score was 7-0 in favor of the Bishop Broncos. Bishop Broncos came out in the second half and scored four additional goals ending the game with a total score of 11 to 0. The Broncos defense held strong and prevented zero shots on goal.

Ellie Crall lead the team with four goals and one assist, Jillian Veenker scored two goals, and Jaden Davis, Alyssa Buchholz, Brooklyn Braaten, Katya Fierro, and Claire Vetter each had one goal. Alyssa Buchholz and Brooke Taylor both had two assist. While Brooklyn Braaten, Madyn Weller and Riley Van Nest each had an assist.

The lady Broncos continue to improve and are preparing for Thursday, January 18th home game against the High Desert League’s number two ranked team the Mammoth Huskies.

In nine games the Lady Broncos have out scored their opponents 78 goals to one scored against.

Coach Bill Dailey reports he is extremely proud of how hard the team has worked and how they’ve come together this year. The Bishop Varsity Girls Soccer team encourages the Bishop community to come out and support your team this Thursday at 3 o’clock when they take on the Mammoth Huskies at John Schwab field.
