The Bishop JV Broncos followed up their impressive win at Rosamond with another W in a route against Desert. The Broncos came out hot, winning the 1st quarter 21-7. It was more of the same through the remainder of the game with the final score Bishop 68, Desert 35. The Broncos continue to play better every game. Leading the way for Bishop was Devaun Mitchell with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Will Kemp had 12 points, 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 rebounds. Jekobe Dondero had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Dom Dondero had 10 points, 5 rebounds 6 assists and 3 steals. Heath Fuller had 11 points, and 4 rebounds. Derrick Cortez added 4 points, and 5 rebounds. Nolen Dowers had 3 rebounds and a steal. Levi Williams had 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. Charlie Lewis came in with 2 rebounds and 1 block. Michael Spratt had 3 rebounds. The Broncos improve their record to 12-1 on the season. Next up for the Broncos are the final 2 games of the season Tuesday 2/6 and Thursday 2/8 against CA City and Boron.
