Bishop Broncos Girls Track Takes Spring Academic Award in CIF Central Section
The BUHS girls track team was awarded third place in the CIF Central Section 2023-2024 Spring Academic Teams Awards for unweighted GPAs. According to the CIF Central Section, the award was given to teams for “highest unweighted GPAs in their respective sports,” with GPAs verified by school registrars and the Section office. Bishop’s 3.76 GPA tied the team for third with Centennial, just behind Immanuel in first place with 3.81 and Lompoc in second with 3.77. Mission College Prep and Templeton followed in fourth with a 3.60 tie.
