Bishop Broncos Girls Tennis Ties 9-9 in Match Play, Loses 65-71 in Total Games Against Burroughs

Bishop Bronco Girls Tennis traveled to Ridgecrest on Thursday for a match against the Burros. At the conclusion of match play the score was tied 9 to 9. Total games were then added up Bishop lost by 6 games 65 to 71.
The doubles won 7 matches.
Cadence Nott and Ania Durham lost 1-6 then won 6-0.
Avery Mcgraw and Kinlei Romero won 6-0.
Sofie Ablanedo and Destanee Barajas won 6-1 then lost 0-6.
Sydney Norcross and Ellie Crall won 6-1 and 6,-3.
Amelia Winter and Harshvi Raulji won 6-4.
Xochitl Lopez and Aubree Frechette won 6-3.
The singles won 2 for the day.
Xitlaly Solorio 0-6 2-6 and won 6-2.
Lola Mullner lost 1,-6
Siena Pope lost 5-7.
Scout Osland won 6-3 and lost 1-6
Lucia Elia lost 1-6 0-6
“Burroughs is always a tough team to play against but this year’s Bronco team held their own against them. I was very pleased with our teamś performance and sportsmanship,” said Coach Cummings.
