Bishop Girls Varsity soccer responded from their first league loss with their best performance on Tuesday, shutting out Rosamond 5-0. Bishop charged out of the gate, striking early and often in the first half with goals by Brooke Taylor, Ashley Sandoval, Jessie Ludwick, and Madyn Weller, who had 2 goals.
Several Broncos had assists in the game, led by Taylor Derr with 2 assists and Bree Braaten, Brooke Taylor, and Ashley Sandoval, who each had 1.
After the victory, the Broncos celebrated their two Seniors, Jessica Santana and Katya Fierro.
After dropping their first HDL match last Thursday vs rival Mammoth, the Broncos played with urgency, building a big lead and cruising to victory.
The Broncos have two HDL games remaining, both on the road with trips to Desert and California City.
