Bishop Broncos Girls Soccer Defeats Kern Valley 10-0

On Tuesday, January 17, 2023 the Bishop Union High School Lady Broncos hosted the Kern Valley Broncs. The temperature was chilly 33° at game time. The Lady Broncos scored their first goal five minutes into the game and ended the first half with the score of 7 to 0. Second half the lady Broncos scored an additional three goals limiting Kern Valley Broncs. Final score was 10-0. The Bronco defense limited Kern Valley to only one shot on goal for the whole game.

JuliAnna Jackson and Ellie Crall each scored three goals, Brooklyn Braaten scored two goals, and Elizabeth Ellsworth and Jessica Santana each scored one goal. Ellie Crall lead to charge with two assist, while Alyssa Buchholz, Brooklyn Braaten, and Elizabeth Ellsworth each had an assist.

Coach Bill Dailey reports the Lady Broncos are coming together and playing as a team. Their record in league is 6-0. The lady Broncos have scored a total of 45 goals and have only allowed one goal scored against them in league play. Not even halfway through the season and every player on the team has scored.

Coach Bill Dailey stated he could not be more proud of how the team has developed.

The Lady Broncos want to thank the Kern Valley Broncs for their excellent sportsmanship and friendly play.

This Thursday, January 19, 2023 the Bishop lady Broncos will travel to play the Frazier Mountain Falcons and again on Saturday, January 21, 2023 will travel to Cal City Ravens.
