A Classic Horror Story. A Darkly Fascinating True Story.
One Unforgettable Night.
Step into the world of Frankenstein, David Catlin’s acclaimed, electrifying adaptation of Mary Shelley’s legendary tale. Blending spine-tingling horror with the true story of the novel’s creation, this thrilling play-within-a-play brings one of literature’s most iconic monsters to life in a bold, theatrical experience.
It’s the infamous summer of 1816. At a lavish villa on Lake Geneva, Mary Godwin (later Shelley), Percy Bysshe Shelley, Lord Byron, Claire Clairmont, and Dr. John Polidori gather for a night of storytelling—and a challenge to write the most terrifying ghost story imaginable. But as Mary’s chilling tale unfolds, the boundaries between imagination and reality begin to blur.
The villa’s guests become the characters in Mary’s nightmare, plunging audiences into the tragic, terrifying world of Victor Frankenstein and the creature he brings to life.
Dark, thrilling, and hauntingly human, Frankenstein is a gripping theatrical experience that explores the dangers of unchecked ambition, the power of creation, and what it truly means to be a monster.
