Help Care for What You Love at the Annual Lakes Basin Cleanup!

Hello Mammoth Lakes Trail System Crew,
The Lakes Basin is one of the places that makes Mammoth Lakes special. As summer winds down, it’s time to give these trails and public lands a little extra care.
Join the Mammoth Lakes Trail System and Inyo National Forest for the Annual Lakes Basin Cleanup on Saturday, September 19 from 9 AM–12 PM at Horseshoe Lake Trailhead.
We’ll spend the morning working together on trail maintenance, landscape restoration and general cleanup, helping care for the places we all enjoy throughout the year and preparing the Lakes Basin for the winter season.
What to Expect
We’ll kick things off with a free breakfast from Mammoth Mountain, followed by a safety talk and work assignments. All tools will be provided.
Volunteers who haven’t received their Trail Days T-shirt yet can also pick one up while supplies last.
