McCoy Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) Groundbreaking Ceremony – August 6, 2025

The community is cordially invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the McCoy Arts and Cultural Center at 2:30pm on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 100 College Parkway.

Beginning at 2:30pm, join representatives and dignitaries from the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Mono County, Mammoth Lakes Foundation (MLF), Kern Community College District, and Mammoth Lakes Recreation (MLR) for speeches and insight into how the MACC will unify and strengthen the arts and culture community by bringing everyone together in one custom-designed 239-seat auditorium.

Immediately following the groundbreaking ceremony, participants are welcome to tour the Edison Hall phase I renovations. Enhancements completed by the MLF include dedicated dressing and rehearsal rooms, new restrooms, concession spaces, and other interior improvements. These improvements are critical to the success of the new theater and were designed and phased strategically by MLF and the Town to cohesively work together as one integrated facility.

Drinks and refreshments will be available in the Edison Hall.

Guests are asked to park in the Dave and Roma McCoy Community College parking lot, at the Community Dog Park or use the FREE purple line.

We hope you can join us to celebrate the eagerly awaited McCoy Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) Groundbreaking Ceremony on August 6, 2025.
