Bishop Broncos Varsity Softball Defeat Legacy Christian 10-0 in First Round CIF Playoffs

Bishop Varsity softball hosted the 1st round of CIF playoffs on Friday 5/16 playing Legacy Christian out of Bakersfield. Coming away with the win 10 to 0.
Sienna Fuller was the starting pitcher throwing 4 innings, allowing 0 runs on no hits, striking out 9 and walking 1.
Sadie Mairs came in in relief throwing the 5th inning giving up 1 hit and striking out 1.
Offensively,
Braydee Momberg was 2 for 3, with 2 stolen bases, and 2 runs scored
Faye Spoonhunter was 3 for 3, with 3 stolen bases, 1 RBI and 3 runs scored
Cambrie Lanphear was 2 for 3 with 2 stolen bases, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored
Tannyr Ludwick was 2 for 3, with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored
Ellie Boyd walked once and had a sacrifice with 2RBIs and 1 run scored
Laila Beall had a sacrifice bunt with 1 RBI
Sienna Fuller was 1 for 1 with 1 walk, 1 stolen base and 1 run scored
Azul Aranzubia had a sacrifice with 1 RBI
Bishop will host the Roosevelt Rough Riders from Fresno in the second round of playoffs on Tuesday 5/20 at 3pm at the City Park.
