ESLT: Be Part of Something Permanent

December 17th, 2024

For over 20 years, ESLT has been the bridge that brings together people who love this land and want to protect it.

Thanks to your generous support, we’ve protected over 23,000 acres, safeguarded critical habitats, preserved working farms and ranches, and connected countless individuals with the natural wonders of the Eastern Sierra. Will you join us in continuing this work?

Your support has helped create a community of stewards dedicated to ensuring that these landscapes remain vibrant and accessible to all.

But the work doesn’t stop here. Our conservation efforts are increasing, and we need your support more than ever.

We are excited to share that we are working on a conservation easement to protect wetlands in Adobe Valley and partnering with the Mono Lake Kootzaduka’a to support one of their acquisition projects.

We also have more conservation projects in the pipeline than we’ve had in years, and we’re working on a Strategic Conservation Plan to prioritize these efforts as we move into 2025.

Our environment’s challenges continue to grow, and so does our commitment to protect it.

Together, we can ensure the lands, waters, and wildlife of the Eastern Sierra will thrive long into the future. Every acre conserved, every stream protected, and every wildlife corridor safeguarded is a testament to your dedication.

As we look to the future, we’re setting ambitious goals to meet the growing needs of this precious environment: expanding conservation easements, restoring vital ecosystems, and fostering a shared appreciation for the Eastern Sierra’s unique natural legacy.
