8 FEET of fresh powder in February? Come get your turns!
Mammoth Lakes is blanketed in a fresh layer of powder! Since the start of February, Mammoth Mountain received up to 90 inches of new snow. That is nearly 8 FEET of snow at the summit in about one week and more has been falling throughout the day.
If you haven’t made plans for President’s Day Weekend, now is your chance to enjoy the turns of your dreams. All this fresh snow has sent the powder hounds into a frenzy — make those travel plans and don’t miss first chair.

Want to skip freeway traffic? Why not try flying to Mammoth Lakes for President’s Day Weekend?
Flights from Southern California to Mammoth Lakes on Advanced Airlines are running to Hawthorne-LAX and Carlsbad.
Additionally, you can hop on flights from San Francisco and Denver to the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport in Bishop (just 45 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes) via United Airlines.
