Town Council to Consider Amendment to the Clearwater Specific Plan

The Town Council will consider an amendment to the Clearwater Specific Plan to allow a less intensive interim “Phase One” development to be constructed at 164, 202, and 248 Old Mammoth Road. The proposed interim development includes the construction of 30 new hotel cabin units, improvements to the existing Sierra Nevada Resort and Rafters restaurant, expanded event/meeting space, and a new outdoor park. The project will require a subsequent tentative tract map, design review, and a use permit to be considered by the Planning and Economic Development Commission. Review item 10.1 of the Town Council Staff Report.
