— Caltrans reopened State Route 120 E/Mono Mills Road from its winter closure today at noon. It’s the second highway in Mono County to reopen for the season, following State Route 158 N/North June Lake Loop’s reopening on Monday. While Mono Mills Road is now open to vehicle traffic, Caltrans may be forced to close the highway again should weather conditions mandate it.
The remaining winter closures for Caltrans District 9 are still in effect. This includes:
- State Route 89/Monitor Pass
- State Route 108/Sonora Pass
- State Route 270/Bodie Road
- State Route 120 W to Yosemite
- State Route 203 at Mammoth Mountain Lodge
- State Route 168 W at Aspendell
- Crestview Safety Roadside Rest Area
