LOWER TWILIGHT OPENS FRIDAY
After rebuilding the bridge over Uptown, we will now be ready to open lower Twilight Zone this Friday, July 28. Accessed from Main Lodge via the connector trail through Gus’ Pasture, LTZ as its commonly referred to, is one of our favorite jump lines in the park. Great flow, perfect trail speed and a three pack of tabletops give the trail it’s spunky personality. Other highlights include a black ramp jump and mandatory gap, “The Pitcher’s Mound,” and the lower step-down/step-up. All in all, the 1/4-mile long trail of lower Twilight Zone packs a freestyle focused, fun-filled punch. Be sure to also check out Downtown from Main Lodge, Paper Route from F Stop, and Manzanita which are now open.
Pedalpalooza is back this year featuring a new multi-lap course 100% on Mammoth Mountain. This is the ideal event to test your endurance and have some fun in the process. Choose from 20 or 30 mile courses which will take place on the trails Uptown, Downtown, Paper Route, Manzanita, and Big Ring.
