Say it isn’t so
Mammoth Bike Park closing day is this Sunday, Sept 18. We know, it’s too soon! All is not a bummer though. Rain fell on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons making the dirt about as tacky as you’ll see on our mountain. That, along with cool temps and some awesome trail work done on Downtown, Boomerang, Follow Me (so good!), Off the Top and Flow; will make for some of the best conditions of the year, so come and get it while you can!
Things to note during your visit: temps are potentially going to be 40 degrees below what they were last week so make sure to pack some warmer attire before adventuring out into the park. This Saturday, The Village Bike Park Shuttle will be picking riders up from the Red Line stop on Minaret, across from Old New York Deli & Bakery.
Construction impacts continue in the bike park with a handful of trails currently closed while we continue our snowmaking upgrades. The top of Brake Through is closed, use the Burma Road to access the Canyon side of the mountain. Midtown and Techno Rock are also closed. Upper Chain Smoke is closed to below the top of Chair 6, use the reroute down the summer road for access. Upper Shotgun will be closed Thurs, Fri but reopening for the weekend. Be sure to check our Lift & Trail Status Page for up-to-date info.
