From the Top

YASSSSS! The top of the mountain is now open with the trails Off The Top and Skid Marks opening tomorrow, July 1. These are two of our most iconic trails and offer two unique riding experiences from 11,053’. Off The Top is an intermediate rated trail that cruises back and forth down the entire backside of the mountain before linking up with Beach Cruiser. Gorgeous views and fun flow are found in spades here. Skid Marks is an expert rated trail for good reason. Steep, chunky, raw, and exposed, “Skiddies” creeps off the south summit of the mountain through some exciting terrain then mellows out after passing the top of Chair 9. Yes, there are beautiful views, but pull over if you plan on taking them in, this trail requires your full attention.

Stump Alley Express (CH 2) and Canyon Express (CH 16) are also opening for the season this weekend. Use them to access, lap, and connect to different trails and zones around the mountain.

Need a little TLC for your whip while in town? The Gear-Up is the place to go, accepting walk-ups and featuring all of the technical expertise you could ever desire. Located on the 2nd floor at the Mountain Center.
