Caltrans District 9, in partnership with Clean California, is excited to announce a series of community cleanup events in the Eastern Sierra as part of the second annual Clean California Community Days observance. Community groups, local businesses, and residents are invited to volunteer and join these events which are part of the ongoing efforts to keep local California communities clean and beautiful.

2024 Earth Day Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Earth Day & Spring Market at the Cultural Center

Location: Owens Valley Paiute Shoshone Cultural Center (2300 W Line Street, Bishop, CA)
Details: The Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Earth Day & Spring Market is an annual tradition with the Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Environmental Management Office (EMO). Every April, EMO and the Owens Valley Paiute-Shoshone Cultural Center host this outdoor event that includes a roadside trash cleanup of target areas within the reservation.
