Bishop trailed at halftime and could not hold off Burroughs in the second half, falling 37-13 Friday night. The Broncos trailed 15-13 at halftime before Burroughs pulled away after the break to hand Bishop its second loss of the season. Hunter Dailey scored Bishop’s lone rushing touchdown. Quarterback Dom Barlow completed 5 of 13 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown. Dom Dondero caught two passes for 77 yards, while Zane Nicholson hauled in a 9-yard touchdown pass. Dondero also led the Broncos defensively with six solo tackles and a tackle for loss. Oscar Henriquez added four solo tackles and a tackle for loss, while DeVaun Mitchell finished with four solo tackles and two tackles for loss. Daxen Svacina recorded six total tackles and two tackles for loss. Zane Nicholson had 4 solo tackles and a tackle for a loss. Clifton Paco, Hunter Dailey and Waylan Marquez each contributed three solo tackles for Bishop. Wyatt Miears and Waylan Montoya both at 3 total tackles. The Broncos, now 2-2, will look to bounce back Friday when they travel to Tehachapi.
