Bishop Broncos Girls Soccer Advances to CIF Central District Division 4 Championship Game

The Bishop Lady Broncos advance to the CIF Central District Division 4 Championship game after beating the Fowler Redcats Tuesday night. On February 21 the Bishop lady Broncos traveled to Fowler and played the number two ranked team.

In the first half Alyssa Buchholz fired a shot scoring the game’s first goal. Towards the end of the first half the Redcats tied the game.

Second half was a battle back-and-forth. However the Bishop’s Defense held strong limiting the number of shots on goal.

With a little over two minutes left in the second half, Senior JuliAnna Jackson sent a missile towards the goal finding the back of the net with the game winning goal.

The Bishop lady Broncos will now host Lompoc High School in Bishop either this Friday or Saturday, weather dependent.

Make sure you check the schedule and come out and support your lady Broncos varsity soccer team in the Central District Division 4 championship game.

Let’s go Broncos.
