Bishop Broncos Girls Soccer Advance to CIF Quarterfinals After 3-2 Win Against Ridgeview
The Bishop Lady Broncos soccer team hosted the Ridgeview Wolfpack in the first game of Central District Division 4 CIF playoffs. The Wolfpack scored first in the first half as both teams battled the entire half. The end of the first half the score was 0-1 in favor of the Wolfpack.
Bishop lady Broncos made adjustments and came out swinging the second half scoring three unanswered goals. With about six minutes left in the game the Wolfpack scored their second goal.
The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Broncos. The lady Broncos will move to the CIF quarterfinals and host Yosemite Badgers tomorrow night on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the John Schwab field. The game will start at 4 o’clock.
Coach Bill Dailey stated the Wolfpack players were the fastest players that the Lady Broncos had to face this season. Coach Dailey wants to thank the Wolfpack for the great sportsmanship and a very fun game to coach and watch.
Coach Bill Dailey and the lady Broncos hope to see a large turn out tomorrow to support your team as they make a run for the championship.
