Frontline Hospitality Familiarization Tour

Calling All Frontline Hospitality Ambassadors!

The Bishop Chamber of Commerce is hosting a familiarization tour for frontline hospitality professionals who help visitors discover the best of our beautiful backyard!

Hotel front desk staff, restaurant teams, retail employees, and others are often the first to be asked, “What is there to do around here?” We want to help them answer with confidence, enthusiasm, and firsthand knowledge!

Thanks to a grant from Inyo County’s CPSP program, we’re inviting a small group of local hospitality professionals to spend a day exploring some of the incredible places and experiences our area has to offer.

Our goal? To create more knowledgeable, enthusiastic ambassadors for the Eastern Sierra and our amazing backyard!

Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2026

Time: 8:20 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Experience: Participants will travel by van with expert guide Joe Pollini for a full day of local exploration, including visits to:

• Owens Valley Radio Observatory
• Laws Railroad Museum & Historical Site
• Downtown Bishop shops and galleries
• Lunch, snacks, and plenty of fascinating local knowledge are included!

Space is limited! Only nine participants can join this special tour, so early registration is encouraged.

Cost: FREE for employees of Chamber member businesses!
