SUMMARY:10th Annual Eastern Sierra Capital Summit
DESCRIPTION:Local entrepreneurs looking for money to grow or start their business will have access to dozens of funding options at the free 10th Annual Eastern Sierra Capital Summit in Mammoth Lakes on Thursday\, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. until noon. \nCSUB Small Business Development Center director\, Kelly Bearden will be joined by presenters in a “reverse shark tank” format where lenders and assistance providers will detail loans\, investment capital and grant programs.  Topics will include SBA loan programs up to $10 million or more\, small micro business loans from $5\,000 to $50\,000\, investment and capital-based programs such as venture capital\, crowdfunding\, and more. \nThe first capital summit was held in Mammoth Lakes in 2017. According to Bearden\, the SBDC has helped Eastern Sierra business owners obtain tens of millions of dollars in funding over the last ten years. \nCo-sponsored by AltaOne Federal Credit Union and Mission Bank\, the event will take place at the Westin Monache Resort\, 50 Hillside Dr. in Mammoth Lakes. \nAttendees will be able to meet with presenters and lenders for individual questions.
