DESCRIPTION:How to Draw with Oil Pastels \nA drawing workshop with Marijke IJff \nWednesday May 6th – 5:30pm – 7:30pm \nIf you have ever wanted to create your own impressionist artwork but have been too intimidated to pick up a paint brush\, oil pastels are a great place to start! Oil pastels have all of the convenience of a crayon with the benefits of oils! This art medium offers a tactile experience with a lot of smudging and sculpting of the colors along the way. \nIn this class\, we will cover a few oil pastel techniques and start with a small warm up. Then\, everyone will have the opportunity to create your own oil pastel work of art! Everyone is encouraged to bring their own reference image(s)\, but there will be references available. \nAccompany us in experimenting with oil pastels and leave with your very own impressionist piece and some drawing techniques to add to your skill set. \nThis workshop is for ages 9+. \nFor more information and to register online visit our website
