On Thursday, May 30th, Community Coffee, join us and prepare for fire season in the Eastern Sierra. The Whitebark Institute and Mammoth Lakes Fire Department will discuss fire science, creating defensible space, fuel reduction, the latest forecast for the upcoming season, and more. Get your coffee and any of our partner coffee shops before noon.

Each month, Mammoth Lakes Tourism and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce partner to update our local community on issues, events, and programs affecting Mammoth Lakes residents.

Mammoth Lakes is nestled in an idyllic forest, which means forest fires are an ever-present threat to your health and safety. This Community Coffee, we will learn how to prepare for fire season, create defensible space, reduce fuel use, get the latest forecast for the upcoming season, and so much more.
